Hello and welcome to our nursery school

Chiddingfold Village Nursery School is set in a modern, multipurpose village hall in a rural environment. The hall offers excellent facilities and is light and spacious providing scope for a variety of activities running concurrently. We have a safe outside area for free flow play (except in extreme weather) including a barked play area and flower/plant tubs which the children plant up each summer.

The nursery is run by a Nursery Manager in conjunction with an elected parent committee. This gives you, as a parent, if you wish, the opportunity to be involved in decisions within the nursery. We are a non profit making registered charity and the committee organise various fundraising events throughout the year which enables the purchase of new toys and equipment.

We have a close liaison with the local village school, St Mary’s, with the majority of our children starting at this school . This transition not only involves discussion with the Head Teacher and Reception Class Teacher, but is also on a social level, with visits from Reception and Key Stage 1 children reciprocated with our children visiting St. Mary’s.
